WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am the director of the BYU Applied and Computational Mathematics (ACME) program and head of the Jarvis Research Lab. We educate students with a deep understanding of the mathematical and statistical tools that make modern AI work, allowing them to not only use and improve existing models, but also to combine powerful mathematical ideas to develop completely new models to solve new problems.
