WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am a leader in AI/ML education and research, known for co-creating BYU’s ACME program and co-authoring two textbooks on mathematical data science. As a professor and mentor, I’ve influenced many of Utah’s leading data scientists. My expertise extends to developing AIbased algorithms for wearable devices at UnitedHealth and Owlet Baby Care, as well as contributing to health informatics solutions at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Harbor Health. I’ve held executive roles at UnitedHealth Group, Owlet Baby Care, and Harbor Health, guiding investments and research in AI-based products and initiatives.

Harbor Health is launching a new integrated health system in Texas that will serve as a national model for smarter, faster, and higher quality healthcare.
